What is Mediumship?

Mediumship is a form of communication with spirits.  The person acting as the Medium is in fact serving as a medium, or intermediary, between the physical world and the spirit world.  The Medium is trained in how to raise his or her vibration, through a process similar to meditation, to meet with the higher vibration of those who have passed on, as well as the still higher vibration of spirit guides (a term interchangeable with the term "angels").  He or she is then opening up to serve as a channel for information to flow between the spirit world and the physical world. 

Spirits communicate with the Medium in various ways: using symbols, words, emotions, sounds, images, etc.  The more experienced the Medium is, the more easily he or she can interpret this information and communicate it in a way that is helpful and impactful for the person who has requested the session.  Anyone can be trained to serve as a Medium and channel information; we, in fact, naturally do this all of the time without even realizing it.
